Daily Log – July 25, 2016

STEPS: 11,000

Well, first of all – FIVE MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! That’s exciting, right? 😉

I haven’t been blogging lately because honestly, there hasn’t been anything to log. I haven’t worked out since before I left on the mission trip on July 4th, and today is the first day I’ve reached my step goal since July 9th. Most days between then and now, I didn’t even get halfway there, so that shows how little I’ve been moving overall.

Part of accountability is admitting failure, and so I guess that’s what this post is all about. I’m not going to make excuses – I’ve just let myself get out of the habit of exercising, and I need to fix it.

  1. Hey man,

Just wanted to leave a few words for you…

I have been working as a fitness professional for a long time and the fact that you admitted to your lack of accountability is huge…too many people jump off the bandwagon at the first sign of hardship. Keep your focus and own your body. There are many times where I set a goal only to ‘forget about it’ as I’m rounding first base..most recently it was with my blog…I am trying to keep up with it at least once a week, but have had a few slip ups. What matters is that you recognize it, change it and learn from it. I know you can do it, I’m rooting for you.

Please feel free to email me at mwguastella@gmail.com…it’s never as easy as you hope it will be…but the journey is worth it in the end…
